The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Stain

The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Stain is a dual purpose stain which gives your lips and cheeks a healthy looking glow with one wash of color, or builds up for a richer, deeper coverage. Used alone, it's a sheer stain, but can also be used as a great base for lip and even cheek products for a longer lasting flush. It's moisturising formulation helps to condition the skin with vitamin E. 

This is the description of the product in the brochure included in the BDJ Box. 

Monday I tried to use it for the very first time and this is my impression. After using the Bioderma products. I finished my look by adding a pop of color using the tint.

This is my first apply.

At first apply, there is no color or glow added in my skin. I added another one.

Second application

I forgot to snap a picture of my first application but here is the finished touch.

Product is both applied in the lips and cheek

 On the funny side most of the product was in my fingers.

Pros:

1. It has a nice packaging that you can keep in your pocket wherever you go for quick re-touch.

2. The product is in a liquid form so it is easily absorb by the skin.

3. It gives a natural flush which makes you look glowing. This is best for no-make-up-look make-up.

Cons:

1. The product needs to be re-apply at least twice to get a good flush or color.

2. It is not budget friendly because you need to apply at least 2 coat to make its effect visible. I usually opt to products that gives quick result with just one application. So for girls who usually put on make-up everyday for school or work, You can consume this for my estimate is until 2 weeks.

3. When I apply it in my lips, there is this taste that I do not like. It's not that bitter however its not compelling to my taste.

4. Lastly, its not long lasting. In my experience, it only last around 4 hours.
