Stay Inspired

There is this commercial that is known for its question "Para kanino ka gumigising?" (What makes you get up everyday?) 

They said motivation keeps you moving. If you are inspired you will be more excited to do what you need to do like at work if you're boss commends you on doing a great job that inspires you to do better. At school, if you are seated next to your crush, you will be inspired to never miss a day. As a Mom my inspiration is always my family next to God. Being inspired makes me more alive and willing to do anything to accomplish a goal. However there are times that I felt uninspired. I am not sure if the word is correct. It also happen to others. Factors kick in why we lose our attitude to stay inspired. 

I usually go to bookstores and get a helpful book. I have books for financial, purpose driven, bible, kids and marriage. One day I stumble on this photo in facebook. I cannot remember where I got this but I tried and still doing this and it helps. 

I will share you how I tried this.

To stay healthy
1. drink a glass of water
After I brushed my teeth in the morning. I quickly grab a glass of water. I also read that it helps to fight illnesses. Also I drink a very cold one. This wakes me up and its like a jumpstart button that boost me to move faster in the morning.

2. move and sweat
Daily exercise helps me to be more energetic. I feel that whenever I sweat I lose all the negative aura in my body. It also helps me to stay fit as much as possible. Having a desk job makes all the fat and toxins stay in your body. Taking at least 10-15 minutes of exercise surely will make you more energetic and positive.

3. get some sleep
This one is difficult sometimes specially having an infant in the house. I usually snatch quick naps while she is sleeping or if my husband and nanny is available. At night I try to tuck myself in by 10pm. Usually my daughter wakes up in the brink of the night to ask for milk. Make sure you still sleep at least 7 hours to help your mind rest and all the cells in your body regenerate, By the next day you will feel at your best.

Plan your day
4. top 3 task
I am trying my best to do this. So I have my planner always with me. As soon as I get to my desk I quickly write down the top 3 things I want to accomplish everyday. It include blogging of course!

5. the 50/10 rule
For this one I become more diligent with time. I always check the time. If it already reached for example 8:50. I will stop working and relax for 10 minutes. This way I will not be too stress. I can grab a coffee. Look at my favorite website. Review my planner. Think of random thoughts. 

6. reflect daily
This one I am trying to fit in to my life. But if I have time I reflect by doing a daily devotion. 10 minutes of my time with God. Just to relax and think of how blessed I am to have a life he gave to me. You will be grateful for sure and love everything you have.

Keep Learning
7. reading
To be honest I read a lot. Mostly about parenting. Now I am reading blogs. I usually checked bdj's website for the blogs of the bellas. I also check the news. Reading makes me aware of things that I should know.

8. browsing
Oh I am so guilty with this one. I browse a lot. I always check for DIY projects, baking, how-tos, make-up tutorials, fashion and style. When I feel bummed at work I browse to make myself relax and happy.

9. brainstorm
I try to do this with someone. Mostly with my husband, mom and mom-in-law. Brainstorming makes me realize things and boost creativity. I am actually working on a project right now and I am discussing this with them. It is so great to share thoughts.

Focus on what makes you happy
10. express your gratitude
In my planner there is this section #ThisWeekImThankfulFor. I always fill it up with random things that I am thankful happened to me. I cannot do 10 things daily because sometimes I missed to write but this one helps. It makes you realize that you are too blessed and you should be happy for that,

11. tidy your desk
I try to make it to a point that my desk is always clean. But yes I am guilty sometimes I missed this part. I am really comfortable with all the things I needed lying around my desk. But still I make it more organized.

12. indulge in your favorite things
Everyone is entitled for me time. If you can do it at least for a day of me time every month that is good. Then spoil your self on your favorite things like eating at your favorite restaurant. Since I am already a mom. I try to do this every Friday. I got home early every Friday so I take a quick stop at the mall to buy myself a nice blouse or pants or new makeup. Sometimes I just go to a salon for mani-pedi. Its my reward for surviving the week and being productive.

In the nutshell, always stay inspired, Inspiration makes us more happy. It makes us more healthy also.
